New Park Visitors’ Center opens

This year, Khao Yai National Park opened its completely upgraded Visitors’ Information and Education Center.

Gone are the dusty taxidermy relics, replaced with bright, information rich displays and interactive learning experiences providing insights into the park’s wild species and ecology.

A fantastic holographic sequence illustrates the likely evolution of the park since before the time of the dinosaurs; while another explains how the watershed currently functions.

A large interactive learning space allows children to read and access digital information about the park and its diverse range of plants and animals.

Located in the middle of Khao Yai, the new Visitors’ Center is the perfect place to fill your brain with knowledge about the forest you’re about to explore and what to look out for.
